In just a few days fall semester classes will begin at Chico State, and before that happens everyone has to get moved in.
Starting this morning, incoming freshman began their college careers by moving into the Chico State dorms.
University Police closed off Legion Avenue to help students and parents move in to the dormitories.
Chico State is expecting about 2,100 students to live in the dorms this year. Officials are trying to reduce the chaos that comes with the move in process by moving students in at different sections of the dorm.
