Mountain Showers Continue

Temperatures cooled a bit today under a mix of sun and clouds, with showers in the mountains. Some of those showers could make it into the Valley by the end of this week!

Low pressure in Oregon sparked more showers in the higher elevations of the North State today, with even a bit of snow up there as well. That low will move north overnight, but a new low will drop south from the north Pacific. By Thursday, that new low will be off the California coastline, pumping moisture into California... and bringing us a few showers in the lower elevations both Thursday and Friday. Mountain showers will continue all week (with a few even possible this weekend up there!) We'll see only a few hundredths in the Valley, but the mountains could see some decent rain/snow totals by this weekend.

That low will move inland by late Friday, and we'll dry up and warm up in the Valley this weekend. A new low will approach California early next week and cool us down yet again... and bring a few showers to the mountains yet again!

Overall, more cool and unsettled weather is ahead for us!
