The mother of missing 23-year-old Chico resident Angelica Weems was inconsolable today as she joined the door-to-door search to find her youngest child.

She says she last saw her daughter Friday at TJ Maxx in Chico, where they both work.

Police say today that Angelica Weems and her husband Zir Weems were visiting Zir's grandmother in Willows on Sunday evening.

After some sort of disagreement, police say the couple went on a walk, and only Zir returned about half an hour later.
Angelica has been missing ever since.

"Somebody, anywhere, if they see my daughter if they can please contact the police," said Angelica's mother Lorena Hernandez. "I need to find my daughter. That's the only thing. I can do anything, but I want my daughter back."

Police say Zir Weems, has been uncooperative thus far and says he doesn't know where his wife is.
