Mostly sunny skies, and warmer temperatures are ahead for your Thursday forecast. There has been some patchy areas of fog developing in the valley. Redding has had visibility drop to around a half a mile, but has quickly rebounded back to 10 miles of visibility. Temperatures dropped into the mid 40's to low 50's in the valley overnight, and into the mid 30's to mid 40's in the mountains. Afternoon high temperatures will be in the mid to high 70's for the valley, and most mountain areas will be in the mid 60's to low 70's. Winds will be up to 15mph out of the North.
More clouds will arrive in the region over the next couple of days, and a chance of light showers will return to the region on Saturday night. The chance for showers will drop into the Shasta County area on Saturday night, and then more showers will be possible down to Sacramento on Sunday. The best chance for precipitation will be in the mountains. Some clouds will linger into the start of next week, but temperatures will continue to be above average. I hope everyone enjoyed the bit of wet weather we had yesterday, and has a great Thursday!
