Warmer temperatures, and mostly sunny skies are expected for your Monday forecast. Temperatures are starting out in the high 50's to mid 60's for the valley this morning, and in the high 30's to low 50's in the mountains. Afternoon high temperatures are projected to climb into the low to mid 90's in the valley, and mountain areas will end up in the 81 to 90 degree range this afternoon. Winds are expected to be up to 15mph out of the North for the northern end of the valley, and out of the Northwest to 10mph for the rest of the north state. Humidity values will fall to around 20 percent this afternoon. The low humidity and mild heat will leave the region with moderate fire danger this afternoon.
Not much change expected on Tuesday, but a very steep drop in temperatures will be ahead for your Wednesday. Valley areas will only climb into the low to mid 80's on Wednesday afternoon, and mountain areas will have high's in the mid 70's to low 80's. There will only be modest warming from your mid to late week forecast, with slightly warmer temperatures ahead for your weekend. Temperatures will return to the low to mid 90's in the valley for Saturday and Sunday. I hope everyone enjoys the cooler temperatures ahead for mid week, and has a marvelous Monday!
