It was another windy day around the North State today, and look for that to happen again tomorrow! Winds will die down Thursday night. Rain showers possible on Easter.
The north winds were at it again on Wednesday, gusting 10 to 25 mph in the Sacramento Valley. These winds will diminish overnight somewhat before picking right back up again tomorrow. Look for 30 to 35 mph gusts in the Valley during the day before they die down Thursday night.
We'll stay quiet Friday and Saturday in the weather department. A cold low pressure system from the Gulf of Alaska will drop southward into northern California on Easter Sunday, bringing even cooler weather and scattered showers to our region. Look for snow levels to drop to near 4000' by Monday, although the amount of Valley rain & mountain snow won't be too much.
So, it's looking like there could be a few hit-or-miss showers for those Easter egg hunts on Sunday!
