Cool, cloudy, and dry weather is ahead in your Tuesday forecast, but wet weather is projected to return to the north state in your extended forecast. Temperatures are starting out in the mid 40's to low 50's in the valley, low to mid 30's in the Northern Sierra, and mid 40's for the Northern Mountains. High temperatures will climb into the high 60's to low 70's for the valley, and into the mid 50's to mid 60's in the mountains this afternoon.
Clouds will fluctuate across the region today, but the wet weather looks to hold off until Wednesday night. That chance for wet weather will linger into Saturday, giving the north state a few days of much needed showers possible into the weekend. The best potential for the heaviest showers will be from Friday afternoon, through Saturday morning.
I hope everyone is enjoying the fall weather that's finally arrived, and has a great Tuesday!
