The Shasta County Regional Community Foundation reported Monday that they have raised more than $240,000 to help the victims of the Boles Fire.
The fund has been supported by people all over the North State donating anything they could. "We are grateful to every individual donor who made a contribution to this relief effort," said Kerry Caranci, CEO, Shasta Regional Community Foundation.
The Fund has also been supported by large contributions from The Ford Family Foundation, The McConnell Foundation, The Pacific Power Foundation, Pacific Power, and Scott Valley Bank. Scott Valley Bank is also accepting donations at all of their branch locations. Multiple individuals and organizations have hosted fundraisers directing the proceeds to the fund.
Nonprofits and government entities are eligible to request financial assistance from the Community Disaster Relief Fund.
Donations are still being accepted at www.shastarcf.org
