Showers continued around the North State today, and they're on tap for Saturday as well. That should be the end of it, however... and much hotter weather is coming next week!
Low pressure continues to churn through California, keeping the whole state unsettled with showers. There have been a few scattered thunderstorms, but they've been pretty weak compared to the big ones we saw Wednesday afternoon/evening. These showers & thunderstorms will continue through Saturday. Low pressure will finally be east of us by Sunday, and that's when we'll dry out and enjoy mostly sunny skies for Mother's Day.
High pressure is set to return next week, and that's going to heat us up. Look for Valley highs to reach the low 90's by the middle and end of next week!
