Mostly cloudy, and cool conditions are ahead for the north state in your Friday forecast. Dense fog has settled into some areas of the valley this morning, and will impact visibility for commuters. Temperatures are starting out in the high 40's to low 50's for the valley, and mid 30's to mid 40's for the mountains. Afternoon high temperatures will be in the mid to high 50's for the valley, and mid 40's to low 50's in the mountains. Today's winds will be light, before picking up tonight.
Heavy rain, and strong wind returns to the region tonight. Wind will gust up to around 35mph out of the South through tomorrow afternoon. Valley locations will have between .10 to .60 inches of rain from this next system, and mountains will have between .75 to 1.5 inches. Snow levels will be between 5500 to 6000ft. Rain will diminish by Saturday night, and dry weather is ahead for your Thanksgiving week.
I hope everyone is safe on the wet, and foggy roads this morning, and has a fantastic Friday!
