Mostly cloudy skies, cooler temperatures, and scattered showers are ahead in your Thursday forecast. The brunt of the heavy showers made their way through the north state overnight, but the light scattered showers will continue into this evening for the valley. Mountain showers in the northern zones of the state could continue into your Saturday morning forecast.
Temperatures are starting out in the mid 50's for the valley, and in the high 30's to mid 40's in the higher elevations. Afternoon high temperatures will climb into the low to mid 60's for the valley, and high 40's to mid 50's in the mountains. Winds are expected to be modest, and will only be up to around 10mph out of the South.
Temperatures will be slightly warmer through the weekend, and partly cloudy skies will continue across the region. The next chance for wet weather returns to the north state on Tuesday, and will last until Thursday. I hope everyone stays safe on the wet roads, and has a great Thursday!
