More wet weather is ahead for those working outside on this Friday. Scattered showers are heading through the region this morining, with more sustained moisture ahead for the afternoon. Valley rain totals are projected to be between .25 to .75 inches for this system. On top of the showers, there will also be a chance for thunderstorms this afternoon. Winds will be out of the Southeast to around 10mph, and humidity values will range between 90 to 100 percent. Sunrise is set for 7:13am, and sunset will be at 4:43pm.
Showers will continue into overnight, but conditions will dry out early on Saturday. The next chance for showers will return on Sunday night, with a very significant system arriving late next week.
