We saw a break in the wet weather today around the North State, but that break is about over. We're about to get soaked again!
Our brief break in the rain is ending, as the storm door remains open... and our next storm is coming in! This storm looks like a weak one, with light rain moving in Tuesday night, lasting into Wednesday morning. Rainfall totals will be light, and the winds will be as well. We may see a bit of sunshine Wednesday afternoon as the rain ends.
Stronger storms are heading our way Thursday through Sunday. It won't be solid rain the whole time, but any breaks in the rain will be short-lived. South winds will get gusty (although not nearly as strong as last Saturday night!). Snow levels will start around 5000', but could drop to near 3500' by Saturday.
Most of next week is looking drier. After another round of heavy rain on top of saturated ground this week and weekend, that might be a good thing!
