Clouds rolled in through the day today, and brought us a shot of rain this evening. Saturday looks dry, but more rain is coming next week!
Our warm weather finally gave way to stormy weather today, as clouds moved in and we saw a quick hit of rain move through in the early evening. This storm will move east overnight, and Saturday looks partly cloudy, dry and cooler. An even weaker storm will bring a few showers near the Oregon border, perhaps as far south as Redding... but no further.
Monday will be a bit warmer and partly cloudy. Another storm will move through on Tuesday, and it's looking stronger now... I'm expecting showers from it. Snow levels continue to look relatively high.
We'll get another break on Wednesday before a bigger storm moves in on Thursday. This will be our first "winter" storm in a while... decent rain for us in the Valley, and lower snow levels in the mountains. Snow levels won't drop to the Ridge, but they should get down to near Lake Almanor. Should bring good rain to the Valley, and lingering showers into Friday.
Long range models are hinting at an even bigger storm next weekend. That's quite a ways out, but our fingers are definitely crossed!
