Partly to mostly cloudy skies, close to average temperatures, and the potential for showers and thunderstorms are all ahead for your Thursday forecast. The valley will have a 20 to 30 percent chance of precipitation, and the mountains will have between a 40 to 60 percent chance of showers. There is also the slight potential for thunderstorms this afternoon. The best chance for thunderstorms will be in the mountains. Temperatures have dipped into the mid 50's to low 60's overnight in the valley, and into the low 40's to low 50's in the mountains. Afternoon high temperatures are projected to climb into the mid 70's to low 80's in the valley, and into the mid 60's to low 70's in the higher elevations. Winds will be out of the South to around 10mph.
Conditions aren't expected to change much for your Friday, but dry and warmer weather will be ahead for your holiday weekend. Valley areas will climb back into the low to mid 80's by Sunday, and sunny skies are projected to return by that time. Those dry, and warmer conditions will persist through your Memorial Day. The potential for cooler, and wet weather will then return towards the middle of next week. I hope everyone has a great Thursday, and a wonderful holiday weekend!
