More active weather is possible in your Thursday forecast. The potential for afternoon valley, mountain, and foothill thunderstorms is ahead. Those conditions may persist well into the night. The best chance for the active conditions in the valley will be from Butte County to the South. Temperatures are starting out in the mid 50's to low 60's in the valley, and low 30's to low 40's in the mountains. Afternoon high temperatures are expected to be in the low 80's in the valley, and in the mid 60's to low 70's in the mountains. Winds will be out of the North up to around 10mph.
Much cooler temperatures, and the potential for more showers will arrive in the region on Friday, and last through Saturday. Valley temperatures will dip into the low 70's over those two days. A significant warming trend, and clearing skies will be ahead for Monday through the beginning of next week. Valley locations will top out in the mid to high 80's by Monday. I hope everyone has a great Thursday!
