More than two months after a woman suffered fatal injuries in a crash near Yuba City, authorities are still searching for the hit-and-run driver involved.

California Highway Patrol officers say Kelsi Carr, 23, of Meridian, was killed June 3 while riding as a motorcycle passenger on Highway 20 near Lytle Road, after the bike's driver, Nathan Hanks, 28, slammed into the back of a pickup.

Carr was killed instantly, Hanks suffered major injuries and the truck fled the scene.

The CHP says they suspect the pickup involved is a 2001-2004 Toyota Tacoma pickup, possibly white.

Investigators say they have identified 109 area vehicles through DMV records matching this description, but none of those leads panned out. Additionally, numerous tips have been thoroughly investigated, but no leads have been found.

Anyone with information should call the CHP Yuba Sutter Office at (530) 674-5141.
