Staying hot for the start of your work week, but there are some welcome changes on the way to the north state. Temperatures will continue to climb into the mid to high 90's in the valley for your Monday afternoon, and mountain areas will be in the mid 80's to low 90's.
There will be some high clouds funneling into the region from a system off the coast of the Pacific Northwest, but humidity levels will remain relatively low. Temperatures will begin to drop tomorrow, and you'll see much cooler weather on the way by Wednesday. A chance of showers and thunderstorms will also return to the region midweek.
I hope everyone has found a way to beat this summer heat, and has a marvelous Monday!
