Cloudy skies, hot temperatures, and the chance for active weather are ahead in your Monday forecast. Temperatures will start off in the high 60's to low 70's in the valley, but are expected to climb into the 92 to 98 degree range this afternoon. Mountains are starting in the mid 50's to low 60's, and will end up in the mid 80's to mid 90's this afternoon.
More moisture heading up from the South will bring higher humidity levels to the region, and ramp up the chance for unstable weather this afternoon. The best chance for active weather will rest in the mountains this afternoon, but the valley also has a decent chance for showers, and thunderstorms. Winds will be relatively light, with gusts to around 10mph out of the South expected.
Temperatures will cool into the mid to high 80's for valley by Wednesday, before rebounding back into the low to mid 90's late week. I hope everyone has a marvelous Monday!
