Missing Anderson girl located in Sacramento

Update: Rhiannon Timmons has been found at a truck stop in Sacramento. Police say she hitchhiked and caught a ride with a trucker.

Timmons reportedly called her mother from the truck stop, and Anderson Police are on their way to her location.


Anderson Police are searching for an 11-year-old girl last seen at her home on Alamo Way Monday evening.

According to police, Rhiannon Timmons was reported missing by her mother at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday after discovering that she was missing from her bedroom. Timmons was last seen wearing sweat pants and a sports bra and according to police her black Nook tablet and a pair of black Van shoes are missing from her room.

Timmons is 5'5" and approximately 180 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes and is of American Indian descent with dark skin complexion.

Police say Timmons has never run away and there were no family issues or fights leading up to her disappearance. Police say no foul play is suspected in the case, but Timmons' is being treated as an at-risk missing person because of her age.
