Clearing skies, and warmer temperatures continue into your Tuesday forecast. Sunshine will be ahead for the valley, while mountain areas will continue to be partly cloudy this afternoon. Temperatures are starting out in the high 30's to low 40's in the valley, mid 20's to low 30's in the Northern Sierra, and mid to high 30's in the Northern Mountains. Winds are projected to be light.
The warm, and dry trend will continue into your Thanksgiving day forecast, before big changes arrive on Friday. Clouds will become thicker on Friday, and showers will begin to spread across the region. A cooling trend will begin on Thursday, but the biggest impacts will arrive this weekend.
Much cooler temperatures and heavier precipitation will arrive in your weekend forecast. Snow levels will dip to around 5000 feet. The wet weather will linger through the beginning of next week, so make sure to be safe if you're traveling. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday!
