Mother Nature is continuing to help those on the front lines fighting the fires in Northern California, today. Below average temperatures, light winds, and decent humidity values will all play a role in the decreased threat of fire danger.
Temperatures will only climb into the high 80's to low 90's in the valley today, and mountain areas should only warm into the low to mid 80's. Winds will max out at gusts between 15 to 20mph, but sustained winds should stay below 10mph. Humidity will modestly fall from yesterday, but stay relatively high.
Hot, and dry weather will return, and increase the risk of fires by Friday.
