Some welcome changes ahead for your Wednesday forecast. Mostly sunny skies, and slightly cooler temperatures will be ahead for your this afternoon. Temperatures are starting out in the mid to high 60's for the valley, and in the mid 40's to low 60's in the mountains. Afternoon high temperatures are projected to climb into the mid 90's to around 101 degrees in the valley, while mountain areas will be between 90 to 99 degrees this afternoon. Winds will be out of the Southeast to around 10mph, and that will help to limit impacts to air quality in the valley. Air quality will continue to be a big issue for the Northern Mountains, with some areas reporting visibility down to a half a mile this morning. Humidity values will be slightly improved compared to Tuesday as well.
Temperatures will slowly cool through the end of the week, and valley temperatures are projected to be in the 89 to 97 degree range by Friday. Sunny skies, and high temperatures in the 90's will be ahead for the weekend. There does not look to be any real chance for precipitation through the extended forecast. I hope everyone enjoys the cooler temperatures ahead through the end of the week, and has a wonderful Wednesday!
