Partly cloudy, dry, and warm conditions are ahead for your Wednesday Farmcast. Dense fog has developed in Redding, where visibility has fluctuated between a quarter to half a mile over the last few hours. Areas of fog have also been observed in Oroville and Chico, but visibility has not been as impacted. Valley temperatures have dipped into the low to mid 40's overnight, and will return to the mid to high 60's this afternoon. Winds will be up to around 10mph out of the South, and humidity values will fall to around 60 percent. Your Wedneday sunrise is set for 7:12am, and sunset will occur at 5:31pm.
Rain will return to the region late tonight, and will spread from the Northwest to Southeast throughout the day on Thursday. Precipitation amounts will be significant, with more than 3 inches being projected throughout the valley through Sunday. Winds are also going to be a factor late this week. Gusts could top 35mph out of the South by Friday. Make sure you get everything outside situated before the rain, and wind return late week!
