Slightly cooler temperatures, sunny skies, and light winds are ahead for your first forecast of the fall season! Temperatures have dropped into the mid to high 50's overnight in the valley, and into the mid 30's to mid 40's in the mountains. Afternoon high temperatures will be in the mid 80's to low 90's in the valley, and mountain areas will climb into the high 70's to mid 80's this afternoon. Winds are expected to be light in the valley, and up to 10mph out of the East in the mountains. Humidity values will only fall to 25 to 35 percent today.
Temperatures will be slightly hotter from Thursday through Saturday. Valley areas will climb back into the low to mid 90's, and mountain areas will climb back into the mid to high 80's during that time. Cooler conditions will arrive on Sunday, and last through the middle of next week. Unfortunately, showers look to be unlikely across the region through your extended forecast. I hope everyone enjoys the first full day of the fall season, and has a wonderful Wednesday!
