Meteorologist Jason Atcho's Thursday Evening Weather Forecast

Jul 10, 2014 8:53 PM by Meteorologist Jason Atcho

Red Flag Warnings will go into effect from 11PM Thursday night through 11AM Friday morning. We'll have a slight chance overnight for thunderstorms which could spark up fires. Winds with these storms could have gusts of 30-35 miles per hour, which could fan out the flames.

For tomorrow, we could still see a shower or storm early but the skies will clear up for the valley. The mountains could still see an isolated storm in the afternoon. Highs will be in the 90s in the valley and 80s and 90s in the higher elevations.

The weekend will look nice with lots of sunshine and the dry trend will continue through next week. By the end of next week, we'll see a few more clouds moving in with some moisture possibly returning to the North State.
