Marysville police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a bank Monday morning.

Just before 9 a.m. a man walked into Sierra Central Credit Union on 4th Street in Marysville. He walked up to the teller and demanded money as he pointed an aerosol can at her, police said.

The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of money before the man ran out the bank’s back door, according to Lt. Jason Garringer.

The man was described as being in his mid 20’s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a baseball hat, black sunglasses and blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Marysville Police Department or submit an anonymous tip through the department’s mobile app.
