Marigold Elementary School officials are cleaning up a mess Thursday after vandals broke into the same classroom that was targeted by thieves last month.

According to Principal Shawneese Heath, the vandal broke a window of a second grade classroom sometime Wednesday night. Heath says the suspect entered the classroom, but did not take anything.

In late January, thieves broke into Marigold classrooms and stole three Acer Notebooks, two laptops, three iPads, two walkie-talkies, and a digital camera. Scott estimates the total loss to be about $3,000. He also estimates the cost of replacing the 10 or so broken windows to be close to $1,000.

Marigold was also burglarized and vandalized in November of last year.
