March is vehicle amnesty month in Redding

This March the Redding Police Department, the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office and the Anderson Police Department are working with Pick-N-Pull to help remove old vehicles from Redding area properties.

In a press release the RPD said, The Redding Police Department remains committed to working with members of the community to ensure our neighborhoods are safe and free of blight. We work on a daily basis to remove abandoned vehicles from public property and are pleased to be part of this effort to reduce the number of vehicles that may be abandoned on private property.

Pick-N-Pull will provide free towing from the Redding, Anderson, Lake Shasta and Lakehead areas. All standard vehicles up to 18ft. can be towed, but no boats motor homes or trailers.
