Authorities are on the lookout for a man who allegedly pulled a gun on his roommate in the city of Shasta Lake.
It happened around eleven o'clock last night at a home on Indian Avenue near Cascade Boulevard.
A woman called sheriff's deputies to claim that her roommate, 24-year-old David Dothard, had pointed a handgun at her and was using it to intimidate other people in the house.
When deputies arrived Dothard was attempting to leave in a car.
Authorities tried to stop him with a taser when they thought he was reaching for a weapon but Dothard was able to drive off and later got away on foot.
He is a black man, around 6'4 feet tall and 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Shasta County sheriff's office.
