An Oroville man suffered life-threatening injuries Sunday afternoon after he was reportedly stabbed in Berry Creek in connection to a marijuana growing operation.
According to the Butte County Sheriff's Office, the victim a 40-year-old man was stabbed multiple times around 5:15 p.m. Sunday at a residence on Pam-R Lane, and investigators say the incident is connected with a marijuana grow the victim was involved with.
The suspects have been described as five to six black male adults and they reportedly left the area in the victim's 1989 Ford Ecoline Van, with Arizona plates.
Sheriff's Investigators say the van, last seen in the Oroville area, was carrying a large amount of marijuana.
