INDIO, Calif. (AP) - A California man has been sentenced to six years in prison for setting fire to a mosque a little more than a week after the San Bernardino terror attack.
The Press-Enterprise reports Tuesday that Carl James Dial was sentenced in a courtroom in Indio.
Dial pleaded guilty in January to arson with sentencing enhancements after reaching a deal with prosecutors in Riverside.
The fire on Dec. 11 damaged the front lobby of the Islamic Society of the Coachella Valley. No one was injured.
The blaze was set nine days after a husband-and-wife killed 14 people in a terror attack in San Bernardino.
