DANA POINT, Calif. (AP) - Orange County authorities are questioning a man to determine whether he had a role in a fire that heavily damaged one unit of a commercial building in Dana Point and caused smoke damage to ten others.
Fire Capt. Shane Sherwood says the two-alarm blaze was reported shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday at the Dana Point Arts Plaza, a mixed office-retail building.
It took about 40 firefighters a half-hour to douse the flames.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
City News Service reports a man in his 20s was held by sheriff's deputies and is being questioned.
