A California man and his nephew recently got more than they bargained for during a storage unit auction.

Inside ther unit was a meth lab, complete with many of the chemicals needed to make the dangerous drug.

"We opened it up; it looked fine from the beginning, and then we found a couple of boxes that said 'Danger, Poison!' on them, so we're like 'Oh, we better stay away from those ones,'" said Steve Bohannon.

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department says it's unclear whether the lab was operated on site. They're looking for the original owners to see if and how they're connected to the meth.
