A Shasta County man finds himself behind bars once again after he led officers on a car chase, reaching speeds of over 100 MPH. Deputies tried to pull over Michael Ybarra, 26, for a traffic violation at the intersection of Riverside Avenue and Ox Yoke Street around 3:20 p.m. yesterday afternoon. Ybarra failed to stop and led officers on a pursuit through Anderson and onto I-5, almost causing multiple accidents. The chase ended at his family's home off of Fig Tree Lane. Ybarra was found to be out of custody on AB-109 and was arrested for throwing narcotics out of his car and resisting arrest when he allegedly attacked officers.
