A man was found dead inside his Marysville home Monday morning, now police are investigating a suspected homicide.
Police got the call around 5:20 a.m. on the 2200 block of Greely Drive by a neighbor who said they were several bags of marijuana in front of the home.
When officers arrived they located the marijuana in front of the house, as officers attempted to contact the resident inside the home, there was no answer at the door.
An officer looked through a window and noticed what appeared to be an unresponsive person down on the living room floor.
Investigators say the resident of the home, a 59-year-old man was found dead, police say there is evidence of foul play.
Investigators are on scene collecting evidence, the name of the man has not been released, pending notification to the next of kin.
