SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) - A self-proclaimed white supremacist who's engaged to a Southern California killer who was found with her boyfriend's body parts in a trash bin has been given 248 years in prison for kidnapping, assault and witness intimidation.
The San Bernardino Sun says Thomas Murphy of Crestline was sentenced Thursday.
Prosecutors say he forced a woman into a home and beat two women with a hammer in 2009 while looking for his girlfriend.
He was captured a day later after a 100-mph freeway chase.
The Sun says court records show Murphy's engaged to Carmen Montelongo. The Riverside woman was sentenced Monday to 26 years to life for stabbing and dismembering her boyfriend in 2011.
She was arrested while pushing a trash bin containing parts of the body down an Ontario street.
