Authorities arrested a man they say was trying to dodge a Fork Complex Fire road block by impersonating a United States Forest Service firefighter.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers working at a road closure on August 3 encountered Aaron Robinson driving on Mountain Road, despite a posted road closure.

Officials say Robinson had painted markings on his pickup truck to resemble a firefighting vehicle.

Robinson was additionally found to have three firearms, and a significant amount of USFS firefighting equipment. He was also suspected to be driving under the influence of alcohol.
