The California Highway Patrol has arrested a man in connection with a hit-and-run that killed a Cottonwood teenager.
Robert Lloyd Tyler, 25, was arrested by CHP officers on Thursday night, after he reportedly confessed to investigators.
Aaron Mieger, 15, was killed after being struck by a car while he was walking along Main Street last Saturday. He died two days before his 16th birthday.
According to a news release from the CHP, a significant investigation and “good old fashioned police work” along with community involvement led to the arrest.
