One man is in the hospital and another behind bars following a stabbing in Redding. A motorist flagged down officers near the 7-11 on North Street in Anderson yesterday. One of the passengers, Tynan Yrigollen, had been stabbed in the neck. Initially the witnesses in the vehicle had told Anderson Police that Tynan was picked up in the area of Churn Creek and Knighton Roads as he was walking along the street. Later in the day, Nathan Duvall turned himself into the Redding Police Department and reportedly admitted to stabbing Yrigollen. Authorities say the attack was unprovoked and happened at a home on Weeks Road in Redding where several people were trimming medical marijuana plants. Duvall was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. Yrigollen's injury was not life threatening.
