Chico Police say Saturday afternoon, Daniel Hensley, 32, was spotted in a stolen vehicle downtown. He wouldn't pull over for police, so they tracked him to Estes Road in south Chico, where he crashed in an orchard, then ran into a nearby home. A California Highway Patrol helicopter was launched, and residents pointed at the home where Hensley was seen running in to. A police K-9 was called in, and the home was surrounded by law enforcement officers from the Chico Police Department, the Butte County Sherrif's Office, and the California Highway Patrol. A Butte County Deputy convinced Hensley to surrender after a three-hour standoff. Police say Hensley was wanted on several felony warrants, and faces more charges in Saturday's incident.
