A man is arrested after police say he intentionally tried to run over the owners of a Chico gas station. Officers arrived at the Valero Gas station on Longfellow Avenue around 6pm Wednesday night. There they learned that the driver, identified as 30-year-old Matthew Dorenzo of Chico, had already had an altercation with the two gas station owners earlier that day. After the two men asked Dorenzo to leave a second time he became angry and accelerated his car towards the men. In the process, he clipped one of the victim's hips and hit the back of the second victim's right leg. He also reportedly ran over the second victim's right leg. Both men suffered minor injuries. Dorenzo was later spotted by officers and arrested at the 7/11 on East Avenue at Ceres.
