A man was arrested last night after allegedly leading California Highway Patrol Officers on a nearly 30 minute high speed chase through Glenn County.
Just before 10:15 p.m. officers attempted to pull over 20-year-old Brodie Alexander Lewis for driving 94 mph on northbound Interstate 5 near County Road 68. Instead of stopping for officers Lewis accelerated his vehicle to speeds in excess of 120 mph.
Lewis took the County Road 57 exit to Highway 99 into Willows, where CHP officers had already cleared roads and alerted other motorists.
The CHP then set up a spike strip on Highway 99 and County Road 24. When Lewis saw the spike strip he stopped his vehicle and was taken into custody without further incident.
Lewis was booked into Glenn County Jail and his bail was set at $1,240.
