Wet weather conditions helped firefighters battling the Lumpkin Fire overnight, burning near Lake Oroville.
As of 7 a.m. Thursday, full containment on the blaze has been reached-- one day ahead of the expected containment date.
No structures were destroyed or damaged in the 1,042 acre blaze.
Crews will remain on scene to patrol and extinguish any hot spots that may break out.
As progress improves, outside resources helping on this fire incident will be sent to other active fires or released back to their home units.
All evacuation orders and warnings have been lifted. However, Ponderosa Way between Lower Forbestown Road to the Ponderosa Reservoir is open only local traffic.
