A free workshop on low-cost health services will kick off a series of presentations by the "Love Chapmantown" Coalition .
The first one takes place Saturday, February 23rd.
The workshops will continue through May.
They target residents who live in Chico's "Chapmantown" neighborhood, but anyone living in the North State is welcome.
Other topics will include legal information, backyard gardening, a fix-up ... clean-up weekend, and disaster preparedness.
Steven Tchudi is with the "Love Chapmantown" Coalition, " Our mantra's help yourself, help your families, help your neighbors. That's pretty much the spirit of the Chapmantown project."
The workshops get underway at 10:00 a.m., at the Salvation Army on East 16th Street.
