A retirement ceremony was held in Corning Saturday night to honor Bob Hall who has decided to hang them up after 31 years on the job.
Hall has left a major impact on athletes, coaches, families and the community.
He got his start at Corning High School in 1984 and he assumed several roles including coach, teacher, and athletic director.
Hall was an integral part in helping a variety of Corning sports capture more than thirty section titles.
Former players, friends, and family turned up to honor Hall. He was overwhelmed by the support and when asked about what the ceremony meant to him, he did not hold back.
"The reason why it happened, it's not me it's these people, this is what it's about in Corning, and boy you never know the support you have and it's been unconditional, I'm going to really miss it," said Hall.
