From Sierra Nevada Beer Brittle to Klean Kanteens, and local animal toy Woof and Poof, downtown store Made in Chico really has it all. For the last 28 years the store located on Third Street has been offering everything local which is great for both the buyer and the seller. Aimee says, "We have 400 consignees. I mean you are putting money in the pocket of 400 different people in town."

And local customers of all ages love it. Glenn Hoffman from Durham says, "I only support local businesses." Chico Resident, Arieal Konz says,"There's unique gifts and we had a guest that came up so we really wanted to show her the unique part of Chico."

For last minute holiday shoppers, the rush before Christmas may be stressful. But if you're looking for some really unique local gifts, there are lots of one-of-a-kind items to choose from. Aimee Anderson, Made in Chico Store Manager says, "There's a lot of love in these gifts. They're not like commercially made. You're not getting cookie cutter stuff."

If you are shopping for the artistic member in the family, you may want to stop by Satava Art Glass on Wall Street. There are all kinds of glass blown art from a local man who got his start at Chico State. These gifts might not be what your looking for for the younger crowd..but I'm sure Powell's Sweet Shoppe next to Made in Chico will catch their interest.

tems range from nostalgic candy and gelato to other great toys or stocking stuffers for children and adults. All purchasing from some of the sweetest staff members. Nancy Carlson, Powell's Sweet Shoppe Owner says, "We go out of our way to wrap the box, help you find your gifts, and to just provide the greatest customer service we can."And by far one of the most unique gifts this town has to offer this holiday season, its very own Chico Snuggie.
