Local dance troupe finds their Rhythm and Motion

The Paradise Dancers are brushing up on their moves in preparation for their big performance this weekend.

The troupe has been hard at work all year long prepping for their Rhythm 'n' Motion' production.

The show will consist of 25 acts ranging from east and west coast swing to different ballroom routines.

Paradise Dances Board Chairman Will Wolheim said he’s excited to see the final production after the students have worked so hard.

"It's choreographed primarily by the students that we have here, a lot of these people dancing right behind me have worked very hard putting together acts, picking their songs, creating different choreography to go into it and teaching their fellow students as well," he said.

Opening night for Rhythm ‘n’ Motion is this Friday at the Paradise Performing Arts Center.

The show starts at 7 p.m.

Saturday has two showings.

Catch Rhythm 'N' Motion at 2 p.m. or again at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $15 dollars an can be purchased at the door.
