Listeria outbreak causes recall of frozen foods in all 50 states

CDC has found seven people hospitalized due to the illness, and some were directly linked with CRF-produced frozen foods. These products are sold under several brand names, like Trader Joe's, Safeway, Kirkland, Earth's Pride Organics.

According to CRF: "Products include organic and non-organic broccoli, butternut squash, carrots, cauliflower, corn, edamame, green beans, Italian beans, kale, leeks, lima beans, onions, peas, pepper strips, potatoes, potato medley, root medley, spinach, sweet potatoes, various vegetable medleys, blends, and stir fry packages, blueberries, cherries, cranberries, peaches, raspberries, and strawberries"

They are recalling all frozen fruits and vegetables made since May of 2014.

There have been a couple outbreaks of Listeria in the US in recent years.
