Redding Police said Wednesday the man arrested for robbing the Gold Street Liquor store yesterday is being charged for two other Redding robberies.

Officers arrested Todd A. Robertson yesterday shortly after he concealed his hand in a paper bag, creating the illusion he had a weapon, and stole cash from the Gold Street Liquor register.

Investigators then noted that Robertson's style matched that of the suspect who robbed the Dutch Bros on S. Market Street June 15 and June 20. The Dutch Bros suspect had a similar stature to Robertson's and had also concealed his right hand in a box to create the illusion he had a weapon.

Robertson was questioned about the Dutch Bros robberies and denied any involvement, but investigators determined they had enough information to file charges based on descriptions provided by the victims.

Robertson was charged with two additional robbery counts and will be arraigned Thursday.
